Grounding Raw Cacao Bliss Balls

Grounding Raw Cacao Bliss Balls

Who doesn’t love a bliss ball? They are convenient, taste great and if made well, are packed full of feel good wholefood ingredients.

These raw bliss balls can be made ahead of time and freeze really well. I used my Grounding Ritual Raw Cacao Blend  to make these beauties. It features raw cacao and is formulated with organic turmeric, ginger and cinnamon.

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup of nuts such as pecans or walnuts blended finely

  • 2 tablespoons of Grounding Ritual Raw Cacao Blend

  • 1-2 teaspoons of organic raw coconut oil

  • 1 teaspoon of desiccated coconut

  • 10 pitted medjool dates soaked in water for 10 minutes to soften

  • a pinch of himalayan salt

  • Desiccated coconut for rolling

Steps:

  1. Mix dry ingredients together in a mixing bowl (nuts, cacao blend and salt)

  2. Drain the dates and roughly chop into smaller pieces.

  3. Add the dates and melted coconut oil to the dry ingredients and combine well with your fingers

  4. Roll into small balls and coat with either coconut.

  5. These keep well in a glass jar or container lined with baking paper. Store for 3 - 4 days in the fridge or up to 2 months in the freezer.
